Born and raised on this coastline, Ilyass has surfed Taghazout since before it was famous. He knows what every spot does on every tide, which café has the best amlou, and exactly how to get a nervous beginner laughing between wipeouts.
His coaching style is simple: honest, patient and completely in your corner. He surfs every session like it's his first — and treats every guest's first wave like it's his own.
