We Surf Morocco started the way the best things do — with a local surfer, a spare board and friends who wanted to share the ocean that raised them.
How it started
A BOARD, ADREAM, THEATLANTIC.
Ilyass grew up where the desert slides into the sea — paddling out before school, learning the coast's moods wave by wave, watching surfers from all over the world fall in love with his backyard. What he noticed: most of them left with half the experience they could have had. The waves were there. The magic was missing.
So he built the missing piece: a surf house where the coaching is real, the food is cooked like family is coming, and the week is designed as one complete Moroccan experience — surf, stay, explore, connect. Not a hotel with lessons. A crew with a house.
Today, We Surf Morocco runs complete surf weeks from Taghazout: beginner lessons to advanced guiding, yoga on the rooftop, adventures into the Atlas foothills and dinners that outlast the sunsets. The boards have multiplied. The idea hasn't changed.
